The green numbers mean... "Thruster".

If you slap your enemies while its at a very low number, you DIE. If you parry, you gain a few thrusters. If you reach 10/10, you can get to phase 2. You have to die for it. After that you get 900 hp, spam able slap, some boosts, etc. You all welcome.
